Bromma gymnasium / Upper Secondary School
In 1937, the late King Gustav V, the present King's great-grand father, inaugurated Bromma gymnasium, a municipal upper secondary school outside Stockholm. Now our school has undergone a complete renovation. On February 5th 2007 Queen Silvia re-inaugurated the school. Bromma gymnasium also celebrated a belated 70th anniversary in connection with this event.
Between 1940-1950 Bromma gymnasium, being a traditional school had only two educational programmes. Today it has three theoretical programmes: Social Science, Natural Science and Technical and a total of 800 students.
Our school not only has a committed and creative staff, it also has a well appreciated Student Care programme, ensuring that intellectual growth occurs hand-in hand with positive social development.
